Requests Module
The Requests Module is designed for managing internal or customer-related requests that require follow-up and tracking. Unlike Reminders, Requests are assigned to a specific user, have notification functionalities, and allow for status updates that can be tracked by both the requester and the assigned user. Notifications can be configured to send email updates upon status changes or completion.
Requests Module Overview
When accessing the Requests module, users will see a tracker-style table view displaying all requests currently active in the system. The table format allows for:
- Search functionality – Quickly find specific requests based on key fields.
- Filtering options – Sort and view requests based on user, status, priority, or any other field available.
- Customization – Users can modify which fields appear in the tracker view by navigating to Settings > Modules > Configure Module and selecting the relevant fields. Users can either create a new request manually or have one automatically generated by another module, such as Enquiries or Proposals, when a follow-up action is needed.
