Form Element Descriptions

When using forms to edit data in EIIƎ some fields will now include more description of the item on the form. This may help to clarify the purpose or context of the field, thus helping the user complete or edit the form content in line with system requirements. A field description is available where you see the small downward chevron icon next to the field label. Clicking this icon will show the description. Here you can see this icon on the Customer Name field and with the description open on the Asignee field.

Note that descriptions are not currently available on all forms and fields. These will be added over time as part of ongoing improvements.

Editors (Users with edit permissions) can also add or edit these descriptions. Editors can click the cog icon to get to the Configure Views section.
